Modest Mouse has cancelled their entire European tour including festival appearances at this summer's Latitude Festival, Scotland's T in the Park, and Ireland's Longitude, Sweden 's Hultsfredsfestivalen, Denmark's NorthSide, Netherlands' Best Kept Secret Festival, Germany's twin Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival, Poland's Open'er Festival, Belgium's Rock Werchter, and France's Main Square Festival.
The American indie rockers have cancelled all summer dates to finish work on the forthcoming album.
In a statement from Modest Mouse about the cancellation the band says, "After much thought, we have decided to cancel our EU/UK tour to continue work on our forthcoming album. We do appreciate our fans and promise that we will make it up to you next year. We look forward to sharing our new music with the world next year."
