It's worth pointing out that the Funktion1 Soundsystem they utilise means that to hear it properly and sample the installation in full effect it's well worth stepping within the ring of flaming lampposts.

Glastonbury Festival supports Wateraid and sent a film maker and a journalist and photographer from the Western Daily Press and Mid Somerset Series to see the impact of the Festival's continuing support for the charity. You can see the film below.
They visited schools, communities and farming collectives who had all benefitted from improved access to safe water and sanitation, making a huge impact on their lives. Access to these basic services allows people to be healthier, more productive and forms the very first step out of poverty and allow people the chance to flourish.
WaterAid transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities. This year the charity is campaigning to get world leaders to 'Pump up the Volume' and agree to a world where everyone everywhere has access to safe water and sanitation by 2030. To sign the petition and for more information please visit: www.wateraid.org/pumpupthevolume or follow@wateraiduk
eFestivals also supports WaterAid which is an international charity dedicated to helping some of the world's poorest communities to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation. It is one of the official charities of Glastonbury Festival and has strong support from Michael and Emily Eavis who visited projects in Mozambique in 2006.
The charity has over 150 volunteers at the festival who help at the African pit latrines, she-pees (female urinals), litter pick and man the WaterAid stand by the Pyramid Stage.
