A limited number of day tickets have gone on sale for Camp Bestival, the family friendly festival held at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August 2013.
Adult day tickets are priced at £60 per day, Age 15-17 day tickets are priced at £35 per day, Age 11-14 day tickets are priced at £30 per day and Age 10 and under day tickets are free (but you must obtain a ticket).
Camp Bestival is all about bringing back the British Holiday Camp... Bestival style! A place where Hi de Hi camping capers meet the spirit of early festivals and as well as entertainment, comedy, and literature. There will be a full programme music over multiple stages, plus other entertainment including comedy, arts & crafts, spoken word, dance, and more.
The entertainment kicks off on Friday 2nd August with music from headliner Richard Hawley plus Ash, The Proclaimers, Billy Bragg, I Am Kloot, DJ Yoda and many more. There will be DJ sets from David Rodigan'Âs Ram Jam, Coldcut'Âs Jon More, John Kennedy and many more. Plus shows, talks and comedy from the Brit School, Black Eagles Circus, Matthew Bourne New Adventures Dance Workshops, Royal Albert Hall Ginormous Percussion Orchestra, Gloria, Timmy And The Superdoopa Skateboard, London Lucumi Choir, Jo Whiley, Bestselling Woman's Hour and Boothby Graffoe.
Saturday 3rd August sees Levellers top the bill, with special guest Mark Owen, Gabrielle Aplin, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, The Cuban Brothers, Musical Youth, Valerie June and many more, plus DJ sets from Grandmaster Flash, Sasha and Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's A Love From Outer Space, amongst many others. There will also be shows from Horrible Histories Barmy Britain, Mr Tumble, Shlomo'Âs Beatbox Adventure, Little Sunshine Little Rainfall, Black Eagles Circus, Candoco Dance Workshops plus more from the Royal Albert Hall Ginormous Percussion Orchestra, Tate Workshops and talks from Charlie Brooks, Trevor Phillips and lots more.
Bringing the festival to a close on Sunday 4th August will be Labrinth, DJ Fresh (Live), Heaven 17, The Polyphonic Spree, Nik Kershaw, dan le sac v Scroobius Pip, Beardyman, The Wurzels and many more. DJ sets from Fabio + Grooverider, Craig Charles, Rob da Bank, Dick & Dom and more. Plus there will be shows, spoken word and comedy from Horrible Histories, Dick & Dom Hosting Castle Stage, BRIT School, Trinity Laban Dance Workshops, Alice In Wonderland Summer Panto, Gloria, Timmy And The Superdoopa Skateboard, Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards, Scroobius Pip, Kate Tempest, Kerry Godliman, Ian Stone and the comedy headliner Alan Davies.

Spread across the Castle Field, Kids Garden, Big Top, Bollywood, Black Dahlia, East Lulworth Literary Institute, the festival offers family entertainment, sideshow attractions and more. There's a huge Kids Area filled with things to keep little ones of all ages entertained all day long. Plus Lulworth Castle has its very own Animal Farm where the kids can get up close to their super-friendly animals.
An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £180 or £190 if camping from Thursday, a weekend with camping child ticket for those aged 15 to 17 years (on 01/08/2013) is priced at £113 with camping on Thursday. A weekend with camping child ticket for those children aged 11 to 14 years (on 01/08/2013) is priced at £98.
All teens (aged 11 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 2 teens per adult (over the age of 30). All children aged under-11 years (on 01/08/2013) can attend for free (but MUST HAVE a ticket). These ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.
An advance car parking pass is priced £11 per car (or £15 cash on arrival), and campervan ticket is £72 per vehicle.
