This weekend tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival will go on sale at 9am on Sunday, 6th October 2013, priced at £210 (£5 booking fee per ticket + £7 P&P per booking ).

For the first time before the main ticket sale Festival bosses are offering 15,000 early bird coach and ticket packages which for the first time will go on sale ahead of the main ticket sale from 6pm, Thursday 3rd October.

As with the general release of tickets, Festival goers will be able to book up to six coach + ticket packages per transaction. Along with their deposit of £50 per person, those booking coach packages will be required to pay the full coach ticket price for their journey. A list of pick-up locations and prices is available (here as a PDF) with the FAQ.

Tickets will be available on this link, click here, or alternatively www.seetickets.com and through the dedicated phone line, 0844 412 4635

It is recommended that ticket buyers are prepared to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale, and should anticipate that they could be waiting for some time to connect.

Anyone aged 13 or over (when the Festival starts) who wishes to buy a ticket must be registered. All registered festival-goers who want to buy tickets will need the registration number and postcode for each person for whom a ticket is being booked.

Ticket registration closed on Monday, and is due to re-open sometime in the week commencing Monday 7th October. Everyone who plans to the come the Festival must register, and that includes children aged 13, 14 and 15. Each ticket sold will feature a photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. An existing registration can be checked here.

There will then be no further UK or International payments taken until the booking site re-opens on the first week of April 2014 when deposit purchasers will have one week to pay the balance of £160 per ticket, and to book everything else they might need (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, insurance).

Next year's Glastonbury runs for five full days from  Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.

No acts are confirmed as yet, but as usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2014 rumours, updated as we receive information.
