Fairport Convention lead the first acts confirmed for next summer's Acoustic Festival of Britain now in it's ninth year the festival is held from Friday 30th May until Sunday 1st June 2014, the weekend after the May Bank Holiday and falling at the end of the Spring School Holidays.
They will be joined at Uttoxeter Racecourse, in Staffordshire by Steve Harley, Tir Na Nog, The Animals, Quill, The Ben Waters Band, Marcus Bonfanti, Ian Prowse, Polly & The Billets Doux, The Ukulele Theatre, Tracie Hunter & The Rebelles, Arthur Kitchener, James Warren, Dan Walsh, Adam Palma, BarlowCree & Shae Maunders, Wildfire Folk, Sons Of Clogger, Richard Taylor, Pelico, and Daisy Chain Quartet.
Early bird tickets are on sale priced at £100. There is also an option to pay in 4 monthly payments. Children aged 10-15 years old at the time of the festival will need a child's ticket priced at £20 for the weekend with camping. A ticket for kids under 10 yrs old (and not still in arms) is priced at £1 for the weekend with camping. A Full Weekend Family Camping Ticket (2 Adults and 2 Children), with camping from Thursday night is priced at £220 for all 4 nights.
The Acoustic Festival of Britain offers the chance to camp in the same area as you park.
The campsite also has pitches on grass/hard standing for caravans and campervans.
Caravan & Camper Van passes can be booked for £10 per vehicle for all 4 nights. There will be 2 sites available for caravans and camper vans. The Main Festival campsite has 300 pitches on grass/hard standing. There is no extra charge for this. These pitches do not have electric hook ups. All occupants must purchase the relevant Weekend with Camping Tickets.
