Following Sunday's sell out of tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival registration has now reopened in preparation of the resale of any cancelled tickets islated to happen after Tuesday 8th April 2014.
After a record time of one hour and 27 minutes tickets for Glastonbury completely sold out with hundreds of thousands missing out. Organisers have confirmed that there is likely to be a resale of returned tickets in the spring, and eFestivals will let ticket buyers know beforehand when the re-sale will be.
Anyone aged 13 or over (when the Festival starts) who wishes to buy a ticket must be registered. Registration requires providing basic contact details and uploading a passport-standard photo. Once the photo has been approved, registers are sent a unique registration number that will need to be quoted to book a ticket.

Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket in the resale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2014.
Each ticket sold will feature a photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. An existing registration can be checked here.
Ticket balances for both UK and international buyers of £160 per ticket (plus £5 booking fee per ticket ), will be payable in the first week of April 2014 when there will also be options to book everything else needed (campervan tickets, parking, cancellation protection). Postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery will be charged at £7 per order. Please note that there is no option to pay your ticket balance prior to this date.
When available, in spring 2014, a car park ticket will be priced at £25 and a campervan ticket will be priced at £85. Car Park or Campervan Tickets will not be able to be booked until the balance is paid for at least one of the tickets on a booking.
Anyone who decides not to pay their balance by 23:59 on Monday April 7th 2014 will be refunded their deposit, minus a £15 administration fee. Those tickets will then be put forward to re-sales, which are likely to be in April or May 2014.
Ticket registration closed on Monday, and is due to re-open sometime next week. Everyone who plans to the come the Festival must register, and that includes children aged 13, 14 and 15. Each ticket sold will feature a photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. An existing registration can be checked here.
The deadline for ticket refunds will be Friday 9th May 2014.
Next year's Glastonbury runs for five full days from Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.
No acts are confirmed as yet, and the first names are expected be announced in sometime in December.Farmer Michael Eavis spoke to the local BBC news programme Points West after the sale on Sunday and revealed, that of the 5 biggest bands in the world who've never played Glastonbury, he thinks he has booked 3 of them for next year. His daughter and co-organiser Emily has last week stated they have two of the headliners booked.
