A Glastonbury Festival ticket includes on-site camping, but that's not for everyone.

For those who wish to pay extra for an alternative off-site option, the ticket details of the Festival's own official Worthy View campsite have just been announced. The tickets for this will go on sale at midday on Monday 4th November.

The benefits of Worthy View include pre-erected accommodation from a choice and variety of tents, 'podpads' or yurts - so you don't have to carry your own tent - plus its own toilets and showers, with hot food available to purchase. With its own adjacent car park the walk from your car to your sleeping spot is likely to be considerably less than it would be if you camped on-site.

Worthy View also comes with a lovely view over the festival site and which is the not-unsteep hill that has to be walked at the end of each day at the festival - not recommended for wheelchair users, pushchairs or anyone with mobility issues.  Camping at Worthy View means that your festival accommodation is not as quick and easy to return to during the day as it's likely to be if camping on-site, so won't suit everyone.

Everyone who wishes to stay at Worthy View must have a valid Festival ticket. All prices are for five nights - Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th June, inclusive (check out Monday 30th June).

The tent (and similar) options this year are:-
2 person pre-erected classic scout style tent (£265 for 5 nights)
2 Person Cloud House (10ft x 7ft)  (£315 for 5 nights)
4 person pre erected classic scout style tent (£525 for 5 nights)
4 person 16ft Tipi Tent (3m tall) (£525 for 5 nights)
4 person 5m Bell Tent (3m tall) (£525 for 5 nights)
6 person dome tent (£630 for 5 nights)
8 person dome tent (£840 for 5 nights)

The Podpads (and similar) options are:-
Basic Podpad (sleeps up to 2) (£315 for 5 nights)
Bunkpad (sleeps up to 4) (£630 for 5 nights)
Octopad (sleeps up to 6) (£945 for 3 nights)

The yurts (and similar) options are:-
2 person 9ft Yurt (5’6” tall) (£350 for 5 nights)
4 person 12ft Yurt (6’8” tall) (£630 for 5 nights)

Car Parking is charged at £25 per car (a Worthy View car park ticket, not a festival car park ticket).

For the full details including photos of each type of accomodation, please see Glastonbury Festival's Worthy View page

Tickets  go on sale at midday on Monday 4th November, and will be available from www.seetickets.com
