Cradle of Filth, Malefice, Onslaught, and more for Alt-Fest 2014

Cradle of Filth, Malefice, Onslaught, Fearless Vampire Killers, Truckfighters, Palm Reader, and Steak are the latest acts to have been added to Alt-Fest, the crowd funded alternative lifestyle festival set to take place from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August 2014 at a 50,000 capacity site at Boughton House, in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

The event, not only reached its target of £30,000 but went on to double the target, receiving over £61,000 from fans via the Kickstarter UK platform. 130 acts across the metal, rock, goth, industrial, steampunk and more genres are now booked with headliners to be revealed soon. Most importantly Alt-Fest, which is operating a strict policy of ‘run by the fans, for the fans’, is engaging their audience in every aspect of the planning process making Alt-Fest not just crowd-funded but also crowd-led. Most of the headlining acts have still not yet been announced.

Alt-Fest will feature six live music stages, presenting crucial Goth, Metal and Industrial acts, plus the 'best-of-the-next' on a newcomers stage, and a punter voted main stage line-up. Line-up so far:

A weekend ticket with camping is priced at £70, and a child aged 13-15 ticket is priced at£55 including camping. 2 early bird adults tickets are priced at £125.

Alt-Fest is a 3 day outdoor festival with 5 days of camping and market stalls. With multiple live music stages covering the genres of Goth, Industrial, EBM, Electronica and metal. There will also be clubbing marquees, a circus big top and a variety of alternative performers from burlesque to fetish, comedy and beyond.

Alt-Fest will be family friendly with the aged 12 and under getting free entry to the festival (1 free child per full paying adult). There will also be a creche for very small ones, activities for children including fairground rides, a petting zoo, bouncy castles and more.

There will also be an adult only 'village' which will be a self-contained area with a strict over 18 access, with a full Club AntiChrist clubbing zone and adult 'play' area.
