Lily Allen has just confirmed on Nick Grimshaw's Radio One breakfast show that she will be appearing at next summer's Glastonbury Festival.
The controversial singer has returned to the limelight this month, with her controversial new song 'Hard Out Here'. The 'Smile' singer quit the industry in 2009 (when she last appeared at Glastonbury) to have kids. She is also riding high in the charts with her Christmas advert cover of Keane’s 'Somewhere Only We Know.'
She told the radio DJ, "I'm playing Glastonbury on Sunday night, it's official it's my second home."
Next year's sold out event will run for five full days from Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.
