Next summer's Wireless Festival weekend will become two events next year as the event will launch a sister festival over the same weekend, Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2014 in Birmingham.

The event which moves from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, to a new undisclosed location in London will be celebrating it's tenth year next summer. The venues for both locations have not yet been announced.

Wireless started in 2005 in Hyde Park, and has previously expanded to cover two locations when in 2006 and 2007 it happened as a two day event at Harewood House near Leeds.

Wireless organisers stated, "Big news! Wireless Festival 2014 will be returning as a two site, multi stage event, that will see the same artists play across sites in London and Birmingham across different days over the same weekend. First Wireless 2014 announcement and tickets on sale in January."
