Katherine Jenkins has added a second date for this year's The Forestry Commission's 2014 Forest Tours where bands perform each summer in spectacular woodland locations around the country.
Katherine Jenkins, and National Symphony Orchestra, and Conductor Anthony Inglis, will now be appearing on Saturday 12th July at Thetford Forest, Near Brandon Suffolk
This is in addition to the previously announced performance at Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire on Sunday 20th July.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on caring for this internationally important tree collection and improving the arboretum for both people and wildlife.
The concert will include a selection of Katherine Jenkins favourite works as well as classic proms repertoire. Katherine last played the venue to a capacity crowd in 2008, and commented on her forthcoming concert, “ÂI thoroughly enjoyed my forest debut which was a little while ago now so I am delighted to be returning to Thetford Forest again in the summer. I hope to see everyone there!Â"
Tickets are priced at £39.60 (including booking fee) go on sale at 9am on Friday, 31st January, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
