Headliners The Flaming Lips, and Wild Beasts lead the first acts confirmed for this year's End Of The Road.

Festival founder Simon Taffe said, “I am very excited to have finally got The Flaming Lips, one of the best live bands in the world today, playing End of the Road on Saturday night. It’s also a great honour to have Wild Beasts back to play a headline spot, plus some of the most interesting live bands around at the moment – White Denim, John Grant, Yo La Tengo and many more.

The dates for End of the Road 2014 which happens at Larmer Tree Gardens,Tollard Royal, Salisbury, in Wiltshire are confirmed as Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August 2014.

There are four main stages, as well as a comedy and a cinema tent. This is a festival for music lovers, well technically a particular brand of music lover, those flavoured with indie, Americana, and folk. The audience are genuinely interested in listening to the acts, it's an old school festival with no gimmicks, no commercialism (properly none), and very few fancy dress costumes. Festival goers at both events can expect ales, Somerset Cider Bus, food, cutting edge film, comedy, children's entertainments, a chance to make, do and discover.

Tier 3 tickets are priced at £160 including camping. Youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) tickets are priced at £120, tickets for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) are priced at £65, and a ticket for chilfren aged 3-15 years in priced at £30, with free entry for a child aged 2 years, and under, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £50, and car parking is priced at £5.

End Of The Road will be allowing early entry to the festival on Thursday 28th August when camping and some parts of the festival site will be on Thursday afternoon. Festival goers can arrive, set up camp, spend the evening finding their way around and be ready to hit the festival when the entertainment starts on Friday.
