The Human League will headline the Sunday night of the 10th Galtres Parklands Festival held over three days this year on August bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2014 at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, near York, in North Yorkshire.
Festival goers can expect a weekend climaxing set including 'Don't You Want Me', 'Fascination' and 'Mirror Man'. In support will be Public Service Broadcasting.
"Finding the right acts for the Sunday top slots filled last year by The Stranglers and the Undertones was never going to be easy," said festival director James Houston. "But we think The Human League are an inspired choice and will be hugely popular with our audience. They stand out both for their back catalogue and contemporary hits, and are complemented wonderfully by Public Service Broadcasting who are the most exciting breakthrough electro act of 2014. It's going to be a fantastic festival finale and a stunning end to our anniversary weekend."
Bellowhead and Levellers are joint Friday headliners, with Martin Stephenson, Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, John Otway, Chris Helme, Blackbeard's Tea Party, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Dave Smith, Sarah Horn (Aelfen), and Holly Taymar also confirmed.
