Band Of Skulls will headline the main stage at this summer's 2000trees happening from Thursday 10th and run until Saturday 12th July at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, in Gloucestershire.
The UK three-piece's frontman Russell Marsden said: “We are thrilled to be headlining 2000trees, we’ve heard it is an awesome festival for people who really love music, so we cannot wait to get there. It’s an exciting year for us and this will be a real highlight.”
2000trees organiser James Scarlett added, "We book exciting and interesting bands who bring something new to the music industry and Band of Skulls are exactly that. We are delighted they will be headlining our festival and today’s announcement shows the greatest ever strength in depth of our line-up, there really is a lot of talent and we’ve still got much more to announce in coming weeks."
Also confimred are The Bronx topping The Cave stage, plus Kids in Glass Houses, DZ Deathrays, Maybeshewill, The Computers, Turbowolf, Baby Godzilla, Decade, Nordic Giants, Verses, Heart In Hand, LostAlone, Palm Reader, The Cadbury Sisters, Dolomite Minor, Boy Jumps Ship, Brawlers, Oliver Wilde, The Dead Formats, The JB Conspiracy, God Damn, Andy Oliveri, Kill Chaos, Youth Man, Crazy Arm (Acoustic), The Bronze Medal, Joe Summers, Kitten and Bear, Sam Green & The Midnight Heist, Harry George Johns, Boat To Row, and The Lonely Tourist.
Already announced acts are Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Public Service Broadcasting, Jamie Lenman, INME frontman Dave McPherson, The Blackout, Cerebral Ballzy, Three Trapped Tigers, Darlia, Loom, Dancing Years, Tall Ships, Wolf Alice, Canterbury, Arcane Roots, Itch, Blitz Kids, Hawk Eyes, Gnarwolves, Johnny Foreigner, Lonely the Brave, Natives, Dad Rocks!, &U&I, Slaves, The Virginmary’s, Ben Marwood, The Retrospective Soundtrack Players, Oxygen Thief, Radstewart, Winter Villains, VerseChorusVerse.
More than 100 live acts will entertain thousands of music fans for two days of music on four stages, plus comedy, DJs, headphone discos, quality and value food & drink, and a trader village.

Tickets are available priced at £75. Children aged 0 to 10 years old can go free but require a ticket and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. An early entry ticket is priced at £15 (less than 1000 now available).
A joint ticket with ArcTanGent Festival is also available priced at £153, and a joint ticket with Y Not Festival is priced at £140.
The festival has sold out for the last four years.
