American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey's booking agency's website (here) reveals the 'Born To Die' singer will be appearing at this year's Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 28th June.
eFestivals believes she will be appearing as headliner on the West Holts Stage on that day. Del Rey certainly suits the 'Glam it up' theme they proposed at the start of this year for the Saturday, and her Hollywood Glam Ballads would be a perfect fit.
Friday headliners Arcade Fire, plus Dolly Parton, Disclosure, Blondie, Lily Allen, and The Black Keys are the first officially announced acts for this year's Festival which happens over five full days from Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset.
Those who have managed to put deposits down on Festival tickets (including coach, and international purchasers) will be getting emails this week reminding them that they must pay the balance of £160 (plus booking fee and postage) between Tuesday 1st and Monday 7th April.
Registration has re-opened today, and whilst it does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket in the resale, if you don't register you will not be able to buy a ticket. Registration must be done before 5pm on Monday, 21st April 2014.
Online registration for 2014can be carried out by clicking here.
The all important line-up will be revealed next month.
