Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Georgie Fame, Sheryl Crow, and Level 42 have been announced as topping the bill at BluesFest which returns to London between Sunday 26th to Friday 31st October 2014 once again at the Royal Albert Hall.
Now in it's fourth year BluesFest will see performances not just take place in the main auditorium, but also in other rooms around the building during the daytime, utilising the Grade 1 listed venue’s varied selection of performance spaces. Alongside the headline concerts in the main auditorium each evening, some of the additional daytime activity returns including intimate sessions from festival artists, exclusive exhibitions, showcases, and an ‘In Conversation With’ series.
Elvis Costello said, "I've waited a, long, long time to share a bill with Georgie Fame. There is no better address to do it than Albert's Royal Hall. Fame at last!"

artefacts from Eric Clapton, The Stones, BB King, Muddy Waters and many more.
Festival director Leo Green said, "Following on from last year with some fantastic shows from Van Morrison, Robert Plant, Ronnie Wood, Bobby Womack and Tedeschi Trucks Band, we're delighted Bluesfest will be returning to the Royal Albert Hall in 2014. Last year's daytime stroller tickets, which are free for kids, proved very popular and it was great to see a family audience enjoy the likes of James Hunter, Dr Feelgood, Huey Morgan and Jo Harman - we're now looking forward to Bluesfest 2014 and are delighted to announce the first of our headliners and look forward to what will be six very memorable days and nights."
The idea of an international celebration of blues and jazz originated from the Marquee Club's enterprising young promoter Harold Pendleton, who played a key role in developing jazz and rock scenes in London, the original festival became a forerunner of today's Reading Festival.
Tickets go on-sale 9am on Friday 4th April priced from £20 upwards and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. Daytime stroller ticket are free for children.
