Chris Helme, ex-frontman The Seahorses who had hits with 'Love is The Law' and 'Blinded By The Sun', leads the latest aditions to Stockton Weekender which will take place over two days this year on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July 2014 at Stockton Riverside Park.
Helme pops up on the Thirteen Stage on Saturday 26th July. Also confirmed are Ichi, The Funk Collective, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Approved, and Leddie and Smoggy who join The Wunderbar Tent line-up.
These names are added to the ever expanding line up, which spans four stages, and now includes Happy Mondays, Public Enemy, Shed Seven, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Reverend & The Makers, Peter Hook & The Light, The Amazing Snakeheads, Hyde & Beast, Laurel, Abel Raise the Cain, Avalanche Party, , Smoove & Turrell, Red Kite, Dark Bells, Gallery Circus, PALACE, The Sons of Bido Lito, By Toutatis, The Panoramic, Serinette, The Urban Voodoo Machine, Lee Nelson, The Suggestibles, The Gimme Gimmicks, Henry Priestman, Dinnernanny, Paul Liddell, Little Mirrors, Joe Solo, The Dead Indians, Cellar Door, High Tide 15:47, Kobadelta, Fleckt Pets and The Gares.
Tees Music Alliance’s Paul Burns – the festival director – said, "We’ve put together a fantastic line up – the likes of which has never been gathered before here on Teesside. We’re delighted with it and hope that people will be excited by it and, most importantly, come out to support and enjoy a top notch local event."
Tickets are priced at £45 for a weekend adult ticket and £75 with camping. Day tickets are priced at £32.50. A valid ticket is required for anyone aged 14 years or older; children under this age will be admitted free (up to 2 children per adult ticket holder) but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
