Last night saw revellers take stock of the five days of Glastonbury Festival head of them with it seeming like more people had turned up to enjoy the nice weather than previous years.

Many of the smaller venues had music on and the site was busy with people looking around. There's a giant roaring polar bear and new boat in the Greenpeace field this year, Arcadia has a new home, Glade has returned with a spaceport, a new Spike venue, and a dance area in the trees.

Many of the bar venues have new frontages reminiscent of Boomtown buildings, and Mutoid Waste have a new area in Glebeland.

Today sees Shangri La open its doors with a new look this year, and more music on the smaller stages.

There's lots of rumours of Coldplay as the Other Stage surprise guest openers tomorrow, but we are hearing it's someone already on the line-up, we hope to let you know who it is later today on the forums or via Twitter.
