West Country acts, singer/songwriter George Ezra, and four-piece Wildflowers, will support headliner Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters at this year's Glastonbury Extravaganza which will take place at Glastonbury Abbey's grounds for the next two years, until 2016.

Ezra, who headlined the BBC Introducing Stage and performed a set on the John Peel Stage at this year’s Festival, said: “I had an amazing time at Glastonbury Festival last month. I think that was the biggest crowd I’ve ever played for. I can’t wait to come back to the town and play at the abbey. It’s a real honour to be supporting a legend like Robert Plant.”

Farmer and the event's organiser Michael Eavis added, “George Ezra is the West Country hero of the moment! He played a fantastic set at the Festival this year and is bound to be a big hit at the Abbey. A perfect support act for Robert Plant.”

This year's event on Saturday, 9th August is headlined by Sensational Space Shifters ft Robert Plant includes West African musician Juldeh Camara, guitarists Skin Tyson and Justin Adams, drummer Dave Smith, Massive Attack keyboardist John Baggott, and bassist Billy Fuller.

Previous stars to appear at the Abbey include Status Quo, Madness, Van Morrison and Jools Holland and in 2013 Bryan Ferry and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra delighted the thousands who attended.
