Glastonbury Festival 2015
Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June 2015Worthy Farm, Pilton, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 4AZ, England MAP
£220 (secured with a deposit) - SOLD OUT
A Glastonbury Festival ticket includes on-site camping, but that's not for everyone.
For those who wish to pay extra for an alternative off-site option, the tickets for the Festival's own official Worthy View campsite will go on sale at midday today, Monday 27th October on the Worthy View booking page.
The benefits of Worthy View include pre-erected accommodation from a choice and variety of tents, 'podpads' or yurts - so you don't have to carry your own tent - plus its own toilets and showers, with hot food available to purchase. With its own adjacent car park the walk from your car to your sleeping spot is likely to be considerably less than it would be if you camped on-site.
Worthy View also comes with a lovely view over the festival site and which is the not-unsteep hill that has to be walked at the end of each day at the festival - not recommended for wheelchair users, pushchairs or anyone with mobility issues. Camping at Worthy View means that your festival accommodation is not as quick and easy to return to during the day as it's likely to be if camping on-site, so won't suit everyone.
Everyone who wishes to stay at Worthy View must have a valid Festival ticket. All prices are for five nights - Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th June, inclusive (check out Monday 30th June).
The tent (and similar) options this year are:-
2 person pre-erected classic scout style tent (£270 for 5 nights)

In addition Tipis in the tipi village will be available to book when paying off the ticket balance (from 1st -7th April 2015). Each Tipi can house up to 6 adults. The price of a Tipi for Glastonbury Festival 2015 remains unchanged and will cost £950 to hire (Festival tickets not included).
Next year's Glastonbury runs for five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2015 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and and hundreds of other worthy causes, both local and international.
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015, the line-up will not be announced until spring next year. Expect something like 2,000 performances at over 100 venues including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, a fantastic Kidz area, poetry, green crafts and information, site art, decor, and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!
As usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2015 rumours, updated as we receive information.
