Kids On Bridges, Blue Saint, Dominic Dunn, Elevant, Felix Hagan And The Family, Helena Johnson, Mersey Wylie, Mutant Vinyl, The Baltic States, and The Soul Rays are the first acts confirmed for Threshold, Liverpool's grass-roots multi-arts festival returns this coming Spring for its 5th year in the Baltic Triangle on Friday 27th until Sunday 29th March 2015. The event showcases grass-roots and emerging arts.

Founded by Kaya Herstad Carney and Chris Herstad Carney as an expression of passion for the grass-roots music and arts scene of their hometown, the festival has grown in stature every year, attracting more visitors, participants and team members with each edition.

Brand new multi-arts space Constellations will head up much of the programming throughout the weekend. Another new addition will be a yet-to-be-revealed unused space in the area, which will house our visual arts programme throughout the weekend as well as some pop up performances.

Returning as main programming venues are District, 24 Kitchen Street, The Baltic Social, Unit 51 Coffee, Lantern Theatre and the Campus.

The visual theme this year is 'Contrasting Geometries', dreamt up by curator Jazamin Sinclair and director Andy Minnis, asks for artists to explore the differences between artificial and natural geometry.

The submission window remains open until December 31st and has already had a wealth of local artists expressing interest for what should prove to be an exciting exhibition in a brand new space.
