Yet another Sunday headliner has been announced for Bristol Folk Festival which returns to May Day Bank Holiday  running on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2015 at St.George’s and Bristol Folk House in Bristol.

Sam Lee heads to Bristol to shocase songs from his latest album, 'The Fade In Time', the follow-up to his Mercury Music Prize-nominated effort, 'Ground Of Its Own'. Amongst his critically acclaimed albums and tours, as well as other varied projects, he is the driving force behind the eclectic, award-winning folk club The Nest Collective, which has brought traditional music to all kinds of new stages and venues, breathing new life into the folk scene.

He joins headliners Home Service, patron Seth Lakeman with folk supergroup The Full English, and Steve Tilston. Plus Sam Leed, Home Service, Leveret, The Gasworks Choir, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Mawkin, Lady Maisery, Roving Crows, Heg & The Wolf Chorus, Maz O'Connor, Isambard Folk Award 2015 Winner, Granny's Attic, Matthew Falloon, FolkLaw, Chris Cleverley, Skelad, Gentlemen Of Few, Matt Woosey, The Barnacle Buoys, John Adams, Harry Jones, and Road Not Taken.

Plus more to be announced including the winners of the festival's own Isambard Folk Award. The festival will also feature Morris dancers, ceilidhs,and singalong sessions.

Early bird tickets are priced at £60 for weekend (+ booking fee).

Renowned as a guaranteed “rain free” event expect the two main stages of music at St. George’s and The Folk House, plus smaller stages which will provide a platform for the scene’s rising and lesser known talents.

As well as ceilidhs, workshops, stalls, talks, plenty of regional food and drink, and, Bristol Morris dancers will also feature as part the selection of other things to watch, listen to, and get involved in.
