Kurt Vile & the Violators, Anna Calvi with The Heritage Orchestra, Jimi Goodwin, Steve Gunn, and Joe Pug have been added to the line-up on the main stage for Citadel, the brand new festival in Victoria Park, London they join Ben Howard, and Bombay Bicycle Club.
The inaugural Citadel 'A Mirror To A City' will take place in London's Victoria Park on Sunday 19th July 2015.
Also confirmed today is the line-up for the Communion presents stage, topping the stage will unannounced special guests who will lead Bear's Den, Dan Croll, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Honeyblood, Rhodes, Tor Miller, and The Walking Who.
The Soundcrash presents will also host special guests as well as Roots Manuva, Seun Kuti and Fela's Egypt 80, Andreya Triana, and Ibibio Sound Machine.
Citadel will also offer an exclusive set from Despacio the custom-built soundsystem from LCD Soundsystem's 2manydjs, and James Murphy.
There will also be a Park Bandstand, which will feature traditional brass bands, swing dancing, folk dancing ceilidhs and hoedowns, and a Rock’n’Roller Disco where festival-goers can dance to blues, soul and rock and roll.
Citadel will also host some of the city's chefs who will be crafting a series of long table Sunday dining experiences, including Sunday roasts and summer barbecues.
Furthermore, Secret Productions’ Sunday Papers Live team will host a tent of captivating literary talks, spoken word and debates for a special version of their popular event, featuring the likes of Reeps One, Bellatrix, Charlie Dark, Dizraeli, Chill Pill, Zoe Williams and many, many more.
Away from the music there will be a Sunday Sports Day boasting a Citadel Vol-ley Ball tournament plus swing ball, sack races and limbo Olympics, complete with special guest comperes.
The Citadel Arts Studio will be offering Fine Arts and Crafts Workshops, Portrait Painting, Clay Sculpting and even Life Drawing, plus massage therapies, afternoon yoga and further opportunities to unwind.
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £49.50 for everyone attending aged 12 or over. Children aged under 12 years tickets are priced at £5.
Away from the live music programme, the festival will host chefs who'll produce a series of long table Sunday dining experiences whilst Secret Productions' Sunday Papers Live team will host a tent of captivating literary talks, spoken word and debates.
