Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moon, Asgeir Trausti, Shamir, Bombino, Lapsley, and C.C. Smugglers have been added to the line-up for Wilderness festival, set to be held at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th August 2015.
Also announced are The Valley DJs including DJ Harvey, Kim Ann Foxman, Tom Middleton, Francesca Lombardo, Andy Butler, Antal, Felix Dickinson, PBR Streetgang, Flying Sorcerer, and Ollie Keens.
They join headliners Bjork, Ben Howard, and George Clinton And Funkadelic/Parliament performing Return to the Mothership, plus Roisin Murphy, Nick Mulvey, Nils Frahm, Caravan Palace, Hercules And Love Affair, Brandt Brauer Frick, Benjamin Clementine, Ibibio Sound Machine, Screamin Miss Jackson and the Slap Ya Mama Big Band, Bouche, Revere, Mikey Kenny with Damon Kilcawley, Felix Hagan, and Will And The People, with more to be announced.
The festival which is curated by the producers of Secret Garden Party and Lovebox offers musicianship, theatre, talks, panel debates, late-night parties, outdoor pursuits and food experiences returns for a fourth year.
Wilderness intellectual Talks and Debates on offer sees previously announced participants such as Sunday Papers Live, The Sunday Assembly, Guerrilla Archaeology, The V&A Talks and more, joined by participants such as GQ's editor Dylan Jones, Matthew Taylor the Chief Executive of the RSA, historian and television presenter Dan Snow, comedian Dom Joly speaking on the ups and downs of celebrity life and Marigold Hotel author Deborah Moggach and famed philosopherJohn Lanchester. Plus contributions from Salon London, The School Of Life, and Headspace, with more speakers and thinkers to be announced in the coming weeks.
The gastronomic side of the festival sees chef Raymond Blanc joining Wilderness for the first time alongside Wilderness’ first international chef Niklas Ekstedt.
An adult weekend camping ticket is priced at £165. Young person (aged 11-17 years) tickets are priced at £80, with tickets for children aged 10 years and younger priced at £5, A campervan ticket is priced at £65, and a car park ticket is priced at £10. A motorhome pass is £85, a caravan with towing vehicle £95, and a large motorhome/winnebago £100.
