Rufus Wainwright will play the Playhouse Whitley Bay on the fist day of the 11th annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival which takes place from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th July 2015.

Tickets for his show will be priced at £29.50 and £35 go on sale at 9am tomorrow, Friday 8th May, on the following link:

Festival organisers have previously announced two shows at the Playhouse Whitley Bay with Jack Savoretti performing on Friday, and Whitley Bay's own Lisbon on Thursday.

Announced so far are Tynemouth Priory and Castle stage headliners Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott performing on Friday with I Am Kloot in support, The Specials top the bill on Saturday with Roots Manuva as guests, and Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, on Sunday, plus The Christians, James Taylor Quartet, Ben Ottewell, Kosoti, and Olivia Devine.

Jack Savoretti tickets are priced at £17.50, and Lisbon tickets are priced at £10.

Tickets are priced £29.50 for Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, £40 for Saturday with The Specials, and Sunday with Martha Reeves and The Vandellas are priced at £15. Booking fees apply.
