Shindig Weekender offers official ticket exchange with cancelled Sunrise Celebration

As previously announced, in light of the recent news that Sunrise Celebration is cancelled and ticket holders are due a refund, Shindig Weekender, held at a secret location in the countryside near Bath, this weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2015 are offering an official ticket exchange.

The swap must be done in advance as Sunrise tickets are no valid for entry at Shindig's gates.

The Dig Inn pub run by Barry Ashworth (lead singer of The Dub Pistols ). Barry explains, “Last year's Shindig was so good I bought the pub and became Landlord , great music, really cool crowd beautiful location, its going to be epic and you can have a pint in Ashworth's Dig Inn.” Simon Clarke, founder of Ghetto Funk & Shindig added, “Shindig is a great chance to get all the music people together once a year and celebrate what they love.”

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £75, and a kids (aged 6-16 years) weekend ticket is priced at £35, a Family (2+2 Weekend) ticket is priced at £185, with kids aged under 6 years, able to attend for free.

This year's fancy dress theme is ‘Country Fair’ so come as a cowboy, vicar or morris dancer what ever takes your fancy.

More of a party for friends (and friends of friends) than a full scale festival. Bring a tent or book our Boutique Camping.

Hang out in the all day Cocktail Bar or Circus & Cabaret then visit The Pub for drinks and music till late. Party till sunrise at The Nightclub, home to Ghetto Funk.

New areas for 2015 are 'Kids Kingdom' a fortress devoted to the younger folk offering non-stop activities all day long with workshops, climbing nets, storytelling, singing, dancing plus indoor cinema and end the day with a Circus Show. Also 'Circus & Cabaret' with performance in the day and live music at night.
