Yesterday at Glastonbury Festival the thousands on site enjoyed a warm night with Hell and Heaven Stages in Shangri-La, Mike Skinner in Park, and Drenge, and Wolf Alice filling the whole of William's Green Field, The Egg, drew a lively crowd in The Bimble Inn.
Elsewhere there were lively protests in Shangri-La, Avalon Cafe was busy, and earlier enjoyed a lovely summer vibe outside the Avalon Arms. Both Arcadia and Block9 flexed their muscles ready for a crowd pleasing weekend.
Today sees the main stages kick into action with The Charlatans, and Ballet opening the main stages. Still no news on the act playing the sunset slot on the Pyramid could it be The Libertines, or Beck? Raghu Dixit replaces The Cambodian Space Project on West Holts.
Today at midday at The Park Charlotte Church will introduce Pussy Riot, who are vaguely rumoured to appear in Shangri-La. But then there's also a hope Lionel Richie will be saying hello in the shrine dedicated to him. What is true is the appearance of The Strypes tomorrow replacing Azealia Banks.
Today also offers Hot Chip, Rudimental, festival livewires Dub Pistols, and there's Lulu in the new look Avalon Field. Plus of course the headline set from Flo.
