Yesterday at Glastonbury Festival it was the turn of Florence + The Machine to take on the role of headliner, with a performance which divided the crowd, fans loved it but many others drifted off to see Hot Chip in West Holts or if they were up for a party see Rudimental own the Other Stage, or Super Furry Animals delight The Park audience.
There were so many other great highlights from the moment Hobo Jones opened the party in Avalon, to both Alabama Shakes, and Motorhead playing sets where the rain cleared. Alabama 3 played a storming set, and Enter Shikari showed Motorhead how the new breed do it. Plus of course that The Libertines performance, though when the first notes of Champane Supernova drifted from the speakers beforehand many thought it would be another reformation.
Today it's the turn of Kanye West to show his credentials, in a small venue last night Neville Staples put on a great ska laiden show which is sure to be repeated in Avalon tonight.
Farmer and festival organiser Michael Eavis has stated he will be watching The Moody Blues and there's also the Family Stone and George Clinton who bring the funk to West Holts before the late night fun starts in the naughty corner.
Today's weather should dry the site nicely, making it easier underfoot to get out and explore.
