Hugh Cornwell has been announced for Weyfest which will take place from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th September at The Rural Life Centre, near Farnham in Surrey.
The original guitarist, singer and main songwriter in The Stranglers, will replace The Troggs on Saturday who are no longer able to appear at Weyfest this year due to Chris Britton being unavailable for personal reasons.
Paul Carrack will headline the Friday night with support from Mungo Jerry. On Saturday The Waterboys headline, on Sunday it's Level 42, with Nazareth, The Christians, Roachford, Ward Thomas, Deborah Bonham, Andy Fairweather-Low, The Quireboys, Federal Charm, Ric Sanders Trio, Ian Campbell Single Handed Blues Band, Leatherat, Indigo Child, Japanese Fighting Fish, The Jackie Lynton Band, The Mantic Muddlers, Charley Farley Sunday Four, The Kut, The Surrey Hills Ukulele Big Band, Passport to Stockholm, Off The Record, Jim Hammond's Electric Mudshack, The True Deceivers, Rhys Morgan, Inside Information, The Fitts,Honey Ryder, Jeramiah Ferrari, Laurence Jones, and Unsung Lilly, confirmed for the four stages.
The festival is run over three days with three outdoor stages plus an indoor acoustic stage. There's also workshops, and on-site camping, and bars with a range of real ales, ciders, lagers & wines.
