The Temperance Movement will headline the 11th Loopallu Festival.
Lead singer Phil Campbell said of their first festival headline slot, "Ullapool is majestic. Scotland and Ullapool people are Kings and Queens. The further north you go the warmer the welcome. Top of the bill is the top of the country.....Slanjevar!!"
The small intimate festival takes place on Friday 25th and Sunday 26th September 2015 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland will also host the newly announced Frances, Have Mercy Las Vegas, Davy & The Hosebeast, Torridon, WEED, CAB Collective, The New Madrids, Bite Night, Tom Figgins, Into The Ark, and Vic Galloway.
They join the previously announced The Damned, Gabrielle Aplin, Gun, The Supernaturals, King Creosote and Vic Galloway's Khartoum Heroes, Skippinish, Skerryvore, Man Made, Twin Wild, Little Mammoths, Spring Break, Catholic Action, and Nieves.
As well as the usual eclectic line up of acts appearing at the festival big top and the fringe events after hours in the villages pubs, the festival will be welcoming the return of the Literally Literary tent in association with Ullapool Book Festival.
This years fancy dress theme has also been announced as ‘Lost Summer’. Interpret that any way you like.

Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.

Tickets are priced at £70 without camping, the ones for £85 with weekend camping have sold out, as have caravan tickets which were priced at £25. Weekend tickets for children aged 6-12 years are priced at £10 with or without camping. Under-5s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Prices do not include booking fees.
