Adele is the bookie's favourrite to headline next year’s Glastonbury Festival after a surge of bets have come into Ladbrokes over the last 24 hours.

Foo Fighters are already a favourite to headline the Festival which will take place at fields surrounding Worthy farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days on the last weekend in June, that's from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th June 2016, after being forced to pull out of the festival due to Dave Grohl’s broken leg.

Jessica Bridge of bookmakers Ladbrokes is quoted as saying, "Adele's going to be rolling in the Glastonbury mud next year if this gamble is on the money. Punters have piled into her odds, and with tickets on sale in a couple of weeks Festival organisers may have let a cat out of the bag."

Last year Emily Eavis told eFestivals in an interview published (here),  when she was talking about how Glastonbury had a track record of getting acts early that as well as Courtney Barnett, and Father John Misty, mentioned Adele when saying how well she felt Courtney Barnett would perform on the main stage, saying, "We're doing quite well starting them off in The Park, because Adele played The Park in 2007, and I think she'd be absolutely fantastic on the Pyramid."
