Sleaford Mods, Boredoms, and Shirley Collins & Ian Kearey lead the first wave of acts confirmed for All Tomorrow’s Parties 2.0 curated by standup comic and writer Stewart Lee.
All Tomorrows Parties 2.0 is happening from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th April 2016, at Pontins, Prestatyn Holiday Centre, in North Wales and will also be home to an eclectic range of acts chosen by their curator including Datblygu, The Necks, The Heads, John Kirkpatrick & Trembling Bells performing No Roses LP, Richard Youngs, Shonen Knife, Wild Billy Childish & The Dear Watsons, Bevis Frond, Stewart Lee, Evan Parker, John Edwards, John Russell & Han Bennink, Trash Kit, Shopping, The Ex, Bardo Pond, The Raincoats, and The Nightingales.
Already set to return in November this year, ATP 2.0 festival is back due to demand from ATP’s regular fans, following on from 2000 - 2013’s succession of ATP holiday camp festivals.
Stewart Lee was a regular attendee and is a fan of the event. Earlier this year he said when the 2.0 reboot was announced, "Of all the ATPs I've attended, the 2001 weekend, when Tortoise curated it and laid American free jazz, European improv noise, alternative country rock, alienating stand-up comedy, ambient electronica, Eighties hardcore, Seventies CBGBs nostalgia, smart-arse post punk, Dutch anarcho-jazz and all manner of unexpected cross-currents on curious young people, remains a pivotal point in my musical education. It's a great honour to be allowed to attempt something similar. Bring bucket, spade, swimwear and an open mind."
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced from £199 per person. Tickets include accommodation in private apartments for you and your friends - tickets must be booked in groups of 4-7 people. All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation.
