Pronghorn, Ushti Baba, and The Skimmity Hitchers front the first acts announced for The Cursus Cider & Music Festival brought to you from the team behind OutCider Festival in conjunction with Made in Dorset & DJ Dapper Dan’s Skanking delights. 

The line-up across 2 alternating stages of music will also feature The Defekters, Gaz Brookfield, Jawbone, Bluetown Rumble, Mick O'Toole, Surfin' Birds, Dana Immanuel & The Stolen Band, The Majestic, V2s, Fish Hook, Mark T & Paul Midgely, The Wessex Pistols, Nu Chilly, The Trav Cats, Mel's All Stars, The Imprints, Donette Forte Urban Lions Band, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, Captain Accident, Smokey Bastard, Dirty Skankin' Love Hornets, and Dorset Phil, as well as a selection of proper cider, ales & food.

Now in it's second year the festival runs from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th May 2016, taking place in the green open setting near Sixpenny Handley, Cranborne Chase, Dorset. The historic Dorset Cursus runs through the festival site – hence the name!

Early bird tickets are priced at £40 for Saturday and Sunday with Friday an optional £10 extra. Tent camping is free with a ticket, if you want to come in a caravan or camper van it’s an extra £10 – it is also £10 per car for parking. There are no electrical hook ups.

The camping area is very near the festival so there will be no long walks with all your stuff!

This is a festival for people who want an uncomplicated good time. It is about good folks, great music and delicious food. There are no circus style distractions and there will not be loads of traders looking for your hard-earned cash. Just come along and chill in a beautiful part of the Dorset countryside.

Children are allowed at this one but only when accompanied by an over 18 year old. There are no child prices and there is no specific child based activities.

Dogs are allowed if kept on a lead and any mess cleared up.
