Headlining the third stage on the Friday at Download Festival and announced for Isle Of Wight Festival the same weekend Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2016 is the Bjorn Tagemose silent film experience Gutterdammerung.
The film is billed as "the loudest silent movie on Earth," and features rock stars including Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Henry Rollins, Jesse Hughes, Lemmy, Tom Araya, Volbeat, Mark Lanegan, Joshua Homme, Justice, Slash and Nina Hagen, and is part rock show, and part immersive cinema experience.
Alongside the silent film a live rock band will express the emotions and action whilst special effects from the film explode to life all around the audience.
Already announced that topping the bill at Download at Donington Park is Rammstein, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden, plus Korn, Motorhead, Deftones, Megadeth, Nightwish, and Disturbed. In total around 150 acts appear over five stages over the three days of the festival.

The Isle Of Wight Festival's line-up of rock and indie names, legendary acts, and rising stars at Seaclose Park in Newport has only one act confirmed Queen with Adam Lambert closing the festival on Sunday as a UK exclusive. Expect many more names to be announced for the festival's multiple stages.
Tickets including booking fees are priced at £202.80 with camping, a student ticket is priced at £186.90, and a teen (aged 13-17 years) ticket is priced at £155.20. Children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge, and a campervan ticket was priced at £120 (and have sold out).
