Guy Garvey has announced he will be appearing solo at Dalby Forest, near Pickering, in North Yorkshire on Friday 24th June, and Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire on Saturday 25th June, as part of The Forestry Commission's 2016 Forest Tours.
After nearly twenty five years and counting as frontman of Elbow, Guy Garvey released his debut solo album, 'Courting the Squall' in October this year, and will bring lead single 'Angela’s Eyes' along with other crowd favourites, and a few special guests to the woods next June.
Commenting on the dates, Guy Garvey said, "I have played Forest Live once before with Elbow so I am really delighted to be performing again in these beautiful locations. It should be a magical experience on a summer’s evening in a forest."
