Lionel Richie will headline a second night at the 15th annual Eden Sessions held in the surroundings of the Eden Project in Cornwall on Wednesday 15th June 2016.
Lionel, who already confirmed an appearance the day before appears as part of his All The Hits world tour, adds the second date after the first date (June 14) sold out soon after tickets went on general sale on Tuesday.
Eden's marketing director Rita Broe said, "We're very pleased to announce that Lionel Richie is playing a second date at the Eden Sessions after we experienced such high demand for the first show. We hope that this will enable people who weren't able to get tickets for the first date to see this global star at our magical venue."
Lionel is the first act to be announced. This will be Lionel’s first ever headline shows in the South West and his first UK shows since his performance at Glastonbury Festival.
Tickets for the second night of Lionel Richie at the Eden Sessions will be priced at £65 plus booking fee and go on general sale at 4pm on Tuesday 15th December, on the link above. Sessions Plus Packages will also be available.
Eden's Inside Track club passes cost £15 and give holders the option to buy two tickets for each Eden Session seven days before they go on general sale.
Members of the Eden Sessions Inside Track club can buy tickets from 4pm today.
A Sessions ticket entitles the ticket holder to visit the Eden Project either on the day of the concert or the day after. All proceeds from the events will go to the Eden Trust. The full dates of Sessions have not yet been announced.
The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. The event will have three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as the headliners.
There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
