The Darkness will headline the Saturday night of the 10th Weyfest which will take place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st August 2016 at The Rural Life Centre, near Farnham in Surrey.

Also announced for the weekend are King King, Slim Chance, and John Otway. Bad Manners, The Blow Monkeys, From The Jam, Big Country, The Beat, and The Wurzels were the first acts to be announced for the four stages.

The festival is run over three days with three outdoor stages plus an indoor acoustic stage. There's also workshops, and on-site camping, and bars with a range of real ales, ciders, lagers & wines.

The venue itself is a major reason for Weyfest’s popularity. The Rural Life Centre is a working museum, littered with artefacts of past country life and local craft displays throughout the venue. A working light railway runs both steam and diesel trains around the perimeter of the venue and because the venue is so compact everything is within easy reach.
