Originally created as an experiment to see how ‘green’ a festival could be, the festival is now in its 8th year, and will also host Owiny Sigoma Band Soundsystem, Dreaming Spires, and Nick Cope.

The early bird offer has ended. Weekend tickets are now priced at £80 for adults which includes camping and all workshops. A teen (aged 13-17 years) ticket is priced at £65. Children aged 12 and under will be able to go along for free! Parking is priced at £10. Campervan tickets are priced at £45. Prices do not include booking fees.

It's the 'Year Of The Red Kite' at Wood this year, their animal of focus, they have a special animal every year – they join the previously-honoured bees and badgers. Red kites, medium-sized scavenging birds of prey, were reintroduced to the Chilterns area and can now regularly be seen soaring above the festival site.

The full list of workshops, activities and talks, which run all day Saturday & Sunday will be announced soon.

This is the festival’s 8th year, initially created to be one of the ‘greenest’ festivals celebrating music and nature, and one of Britain’s greenest events, Wood is powered completely on renewable energy. The stage made of handcrafted oak, has a cheery thatch of flowers growing on its roof.
