Teenage Fanclub making their only UK festival appearance this year, Local Natives, Savages, Broken Social Scene, Thurston Moore Band, and Scritti Politti, lead the latest raft of acts for this year's End Of The Road which happens at Larmer Tree Gardens,Tollard Royal, Salisbury, in Wiltshire from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September 2016
Also confirmed are Sam Beam & Jesca Hoop, JD McPherson, Omar Souleyman, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Kelley Stoltz, Kevin Morby, Anna Meredith, Jenny Hval, Imarhan, Frankie Cosmos, Whitney, Anderson East, Karl Blau, Margo Price, Seratones, Marc Riley, Pacosan, Arrows Of Love, Jonathan Toubin, Laura Gibson, Methyl Ethel, Slow Down, Molasses, Younghusband, Oscar, The Garden, Flamingods, Rhain, Throws, Tigercats, Chris Cohen, BE, Blue House, and comedian Stewart Lee who will headline the comedy stage.
Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake said, "We're very excited to be playing at End Of The Road Festival this year. We've been busy in the studio and End of The Road presents us with a fantastic opportunity to share some of the songs from our next album. The festival has been consistently great from the beginning and this year looks like it will be no exception. The line up is phenomenal."
They join Joanna Newsom (only UK festival date), Animal Collective, and Bat For Lashes who will headline. Also previously announced are Cat Power, Devendra Banhart, Goat, Thee Oh Sees, Phosphorescent, M. Ward, Jeffrey Lewis & Los Bolts, Steve Mason, Field Music, Bill Ryder Jones, Eleanor Friedberger, Dr. Dog, U.S. Girls, Money, Shura, Dilly Dally, Sunflower Bean, The Big Moon, Meilyr Jones, Mothers, Amber Arcades, Kath Bloom, Basia Bulat, Dawn Landes, Shopping, Weaves, James Canty, Martha, Holly Macve, Bas Jan Ader, EERA, Hard Skin, Martha Ffion, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, and Lail Arad.
Tickets are currently priced at £195 including camping. Youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) tickets are priced at £150, tickets for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) are priced at £75, and a ticket for children aged 3-5 years in priced at £45, with free entry for a child aged 2 years, and under, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £80, and car parking is priced at £6.
End Of The Road will be allowing early entry to the festival on Thursday 1st September when camping and some parts of the festival site will be on Thursday afternoon. Festival goers can arrive, set up camp, spend the evening finding their way around and be ready to hit the festival when the entertainment starts on Friday.
