This year sees Dismaland installations come to Shangri-la which opened once a memorial procession for Jo Cox arrived. Emily Eavis opened the Women Only venue which offers workshops, advice and music. Elsewhere her father sang karaoke with the Vodka Jelly band to a packed crowd.
Also opened yesterday was a new look Block9, The Common, and Silver Hayes dance village. The Glade too had a new Funktion1 sound system which wowed crowds with its aural 3d. Steve Davis swapped his cue for decks to draw a crowd in The Park.
Greenpeace in the Greenfields offered the chance to freefall from a rocket, and the craft and healing areas offered revellers an alternative to the music.
There's more alternative entertainment on offer today in the Theatre & Circus Fields. All of which have been drying out well. The newly located John Peel stage whose line-up today includes Explosions In The Sky.
Yesterday saw a karaoke celebration of the music of David Bowie on the Pyramid field, and today the tributes continue tomorrow with Philip Glass's Heroes Symphony on Park.
News of the Referendum result has upset many, with our neighbours packing up distraught that Cameron has had to resign. As financial markets fall there's little reason to hang onto your money and lots of bars and a multitude of stalls and food outlets to spend it in to give retail therapy and comfort post Europe.
