The first acts have been announced for next year's 37th annual Fairport's Cropredy Convention the annual shindig hosted by Fairport Convention.
On Thursday night the festival will host The Divine Comedy as headliners.
The line-up will also include Show of Hands, Feast of Fiddles, Pierce Brothers, Dougie MacLean, Marillion, Cats In Space, Gigspanner, and The Gerry Colvin Band.
As is traditional, Fairport Convention will play on Thursday with a short welcoming set by the band's semi-acoustic line-up to open the festival and celebrate their fifty years with a marathon performance to close the festival on Saturday. Joined on stage by former members and guests, their set will feature the very best from half a century of musicmaking.
There will be two chances to see Fairport Convention co-founder Richard Thompson. He will play a full set in his own right on Friday then join Fairport on Saturday evening.
Saturday's afternoon programme will start with a triple bill of performances from 'early years' former members of Fairport – Ashley Hutchings Morris On, Judy Dyble with Band of Perfect Strangers, and Iain Matthews with Plainsong - as part of the anniversary celebration.
Cropredy will also present a set by the winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award. The rest of the line-up will be announced early in 2017.

The annual festival of folk and rock music is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy, and run by Fairport Convention. This year's 37th anniversary of the festival will take place from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th August 2017.
The first 1000 pre-Xmas orders will receive a special Fairport Christmas Card signed by the band themselves! The first 2000 ticket orders will receive a souvenir Cropredy car sticker.
A three-day (Thurs, Fri, Sat) ticket is priced at £125. Children under 12 years old are admitted free provided they have a free ticket and are accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Three-day camping costs £45 per vehicle. Motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians camp free of charge.
Camping is charged per vehicle (up to five occupants). For convenience and security, tents are erected next to the camping party's vehicle.
2 day (Fri/Sat) and 1 day (Sat) tickets are expected to go on sale on 1 February.
