Many more acts been announced for this year's Standon Calling, which takes place from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th July 2017 (with early entry and limited entertainment available on the Thursday) in the grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire manor house near Ware.
The newly confirmed acts are Editors, Kate Tempest, KT Tunstall, Slow Club, Idris Elba, Lindstrom, Doc Brown, Horse Meat Disco, Strong Asian Mothers, John Hassall & The April Rainers, Yonaka, Skinny Living, Peluche, The Menendez Brothers, Jive Talk, Catherine McGrath, The Wandering Hearts, Cronicle, OUTLYA, The Tin Pigeons, Josephine and The Artizans, Hattie Whitehead, and Kalyde.
These join the previously confirmed acts which include Orbital, Clean Bandit, Slaves, Laura Mvula, Gary Numan, Nothing But Thieves, Steve Mason, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), British Sea Power, and many more. For all of the line-up details so far please see the Standon Calling line-up page.
As well as the music line-up there's lots of 'family activities' - for the kids - including a Horrible Histories 'Barmy Britain' live performance on the Saturday, plus workshops and performances like Matthew Bourne’s Adventures, Ethereal Productions circus and theatre workshop, Hip Hop Academy masterclasses on graffiti, DJ, rap, beat production and beat boxing, nature based charity Fairyland Trust, and more.
Tickets are on sale, priced at £137, £97 for a youth weekend pass (aged 13-17 years) and £35 for a child weekend pass (4-12 years), infants (0-3 years) tickets are priced at £5. A campervan pass is priced at £60. Car parking passes £20.
