New Liverpool festival Hope & Glory - titled for Brexit? We've no idea - which happens behind St George's Hall, Liverpool in St John’s Gardens and William Brown Street for 12,500 people on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August 2017 has announced its full music line-up.
For the main Great Exhibition Stage on the Saturday there'll be James, Razorlight, The Fratellis, Charlotte Church's Late Night Pop Dungeon, The View, Embrace, Badly Drawn Boy, The Pigeon Detectives, The Membranes & 25 Piece Choir, and Clay.
Also for Saturday on the Wonders of the Age Stage there's Starsailor, Lucy Spraggan, Dave Mccabe (The Zutons) with Ian Skelly (The Coral), Chris Helme, The Ordinary Boys, Abichan, Wild Front, Haunt The Wood, and The Jackobins.
For the main Great Exhibition Stage on the Sunday there'll be Hacienda Classical with special guests Shaun Ryder and bez from the Happy Mondays, Ocean Colour Scene, Tom Chaplin, Lightning Seeds, Public Service Broadcasting, Reverend And The Makers, Zak Abel, Clean Cut Kid, The Showhawk Duo, and Trampolene.
And to round things off, for Sunday on the Wonders of the Age Stage there's The Twang, The Shimmer Band, The Blinders, Coquin Migale, Vynce, Avalanche Party, Cabezudos, Glass Mountain, Indigo Velvet, and The Dantevilles.
They'll also be spoken word performances, magic shows, comedy and acoustic acts plus side-shows , and the changeover on stages will be occupied by Ultimate Power and Propaganda DJs.
There's also the oh-how-amusingly-titled Lady Garden Stage, with a football legends charity dart match, Charlotte Church in conversation which is probably better than her singing, celebrity arm wrestling, an air guitar competition, and other silliness.
Weekend tickets are currently priced at £89 for adults, £59 for under 16s and £49 for under 10s. Under 5s tickets are free. There will be limited day tickets available closer to the time.
