The Cursus Cider & Music Festival returns for a fourth time over the May Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th May 2018, to Sixpenny Handley, Dorset, with a line-up of international and local acts.
Headlining the Saturday night will be Skinny Lister with their famously wild live show, there's Gaz Brookfield and The Company of Thieves, Australian folkpunk from The Rumjacks, The Eskies from Dublin, and ska-reggae from New Town Kings. Also playing across the weekend will be some bands from the local music scene, including Skimmity Hitchers, Black Water County, The Surfin' Birds, Blue Town Rumble, and The Intercepteurs, and more. For all of the line-up details so far please see the line-up page. More acts will be announced in the coming months.
Despite the name, there's no performing animals. What's that Dorset Cursus that runs through the festival site, then? Wiki is your friend.
Kev Davis from festival promoters Fuelled By Cider said: “Without doubt this is the best Cursus line-up so far and we are anticipating an early sell out. Put the date in your diary and start making plans for your first festival of the summer!”
Tickets are on sale, priced at £55 for Saturday and Sunday with Friday an optional £15 extra.
An under 18 years ticket is priced at £10, and an under 5's ticket is £1. Tent camping is free with a ticket, if you want to come in a caravan or camper van early bird tickets are an extra £10 (full price £15). There are no electrical hook ups.
It is also £10 per car for parking.
