Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th August 2018Fernhill Farm, Cheddar Road, Compton Martin, Somerset, BS40 6LD, England MAP
2-day £81; 3-day £99
More acts have been announced for ArcTanGent Festival, which takes place from Thursday 16th until Saturday 18th August 2018 at Fernhill Farm, Cheddar, in Somerset.
Revealed today are Glassjaw, as Friday headliners on a UK festival exclusive, having released their latest album "Material Control" last year to critical acclaim. Saturday's headliners have been confirmed as Shellac, also a UK festival exclusive booking. Bob Weston from the band commented on their booking:
"Since we’ve never been to the festival, I’m not sure what we could say about it other than that we’re looking forward to playing in Bristol. It’s nice there. Are there still a lot of road works going on?"
Also announced today are Pelican playing their only UK show of the year, as well as La Dispute, Arcane Roots, Alcest, Zeal & Ardor, Black Peaks, Vennart, Delta Sleep, Telepathy, People Like Milk Products (Memory of Elephants & Chiyoda Ku Big Band), Scalping, Wren, Jo Quail, VLMV, and Vasquez.
ArcTanGent's organiser, James Scarlett, commented on the announcement:
“This feels like the biggest and best announcement we’ve ever done at ATG. Having Glassjaw and Shellac as main stage headliners will be amazing, but personally I’m also very excited about Pelican’s first visit to Fernhill Farm – it’s certainly long overdue. I’d really urge people to check out our Spotify playlist. We put a huge amount of effort into curating a line up that has strength in depth from the top to the bottom – so go check out Telepathy. Check out Scalping. Check out Zeal & Ardor if you don’t know them. Check out them all!”
These acts join Thursday headliner And So I Watch You From Afar, as well as Giraffes? Giraffes!, Pianos Become Teeth, Alpha Male Tea Party, Rolo Tomassi, Jamie Lenman, Foxing, Gallops, Talons, Bossk, Svalbard, Gulfer, Body Hound, and Gug.
Tickets are on sale, priced at £81 for 2-days or £99 for 3-days.
