More acts have been revealed for 2000 Trees Festival, which takes place at Upcote Farm, Withington, Gloucestershire, from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th July 2018.
Newly confirmed for the festival are:- Frightened Rabbit (pictured above), Blood Red Shoes, And So I Watch You From Afar, My Vitriol, Black Honey, Queen Kwong, Vukovi, Brutus, Blood Command, Funeral Shakes, Dead!, Gloo, Nova Twins, Soeur, Warshy, Bloody Knees, Muskets, PD Liddle, No Violet, and Phoxjaw.
They join a line-up already including At the Drive In, Enter Shikari, Black Foxxes, Slotface, Arcane Roots, Hellions, Gallops, Creeper, Basement, The Xcerts, Hell Is For Heroes, Black Foxxes, Dream State, Press to Meco, Touche Amore, Fangclub, Nervus, Black Futures, Boston Manor, Turbowolf, Loathe, Conjurer, Gender Roles, Bitch Falcon, Lady Bird, Sun Arcana, Shvpes, Gold Key, Holding Absence, Haggard Cat, Sean McGowan, Chapter & Verse, and Holiday Oscar.
More acts are still to be announced for the festival, including the Friday headliner.
Frightened Rabbit commented on their return to 2000 Trees:
“We’re so pleased to be back at 2000trees Festival. it’s always been a favourite of ours and they gave us our first ever UK festival headline slot so it’s a special place for us. Also they have peacocks!”
Blood Red Shoes made a statement about their booking:
“Really happy to announce our first festival appearance of 2018. We’ll be returning to our favourite independent festival in the UK, 2000trees Festival."
James Scarlett, the organiser of 2000 Trees, talked about the announcement:
“I was at Upcote Farm a couple of days ago and the sunshine glinting off the Cotswold Hills gave me a real rush of excitement. It’s not long now until July and I think this line up announcement just makes things even stronger with a great list of new and established bands coming from all over the globe. If I could give just two pieces of advice, they’d be to get your tickets now before they sell out and, more importantly, if anyone out there hasn’t checked out the Brutus album “Burst” then get on it ASAP – you will not regret it!”
