The second wave of acts have been revealed for the 20th anniversary of Nozstock - The Hidden Valley, which takes place near Bromyard, in Herefordshire from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd July 2018.
Curated by the father and daughter duo of Pete and Ella and their huge extended family, Pete says: "I can’t quite believe we are reaching our 20th anniversary. It’s been a crazy adventure since we started with just a handful of friends on the farm, and now look where we are! We feel we’ve got a brilliant line-up for everyone this summer, with some really special performances to look out for across all our stages, and in the nooks and crannies. Get set for one hell of a party!"
The new acts are spread across Nozstock's many stages, with the Orchard Stage adding We Are Scientists, The Blockheads, HoneyFeet, Jalen N'Gonda, and Mad Dog Mcrea. The Garden Stage has added Slamboree Soundsystem, Spunge, Uncle Dugs & Billy Daniel Bunter, Gardna, CW Jones, Verbal Highz, Natty Speaks, Revrt, and Old Baby Mackerel. Cubicles has added Mollie Collins, Bladerunner, and Modify Perspective.
For laughs there's Reginald D Hunter, Tony Law, Paul Sweeney, Harriet Dyer, Rich Wilson, John Kearns, Joe Jacobs, Pat Cahill, and Joe Davies. At the Bandstand there's Weirds, Boatbar to Hamburg, and Von Horn, while other newly announced musical acts include Illaman, Yama Warashi, Bone Dry Records Takeover, Yowl. With takeovers from various crews, at Elephant's Grave there's acts such as Harvey Wallbanger, Kid Cut, Paul Flynn, LeeRoy Fitz, Ron Mexico, Archie B, Lordie, Billy Rath, Jobi, Trafic M.C, Kelvin 373, Gardna, Pull Up Collective, Kamoh, Gorilla Tactics Takeover, Beatwell & Dante, Leo Sampson & Clifford Junior ft Natty Campbell & Shumba Youth, 160ft deep, Dancefloor Outlaws, Disorda, Tenz, Natty Speaks, and Revrt.
There's theatre, circus and more at The Altered Stage, with a host of artists to intrigue, educate, debate and entertain including Delirium, Poco Creations, Ras King Bobo, Circo Inferno, The Fetch, Ignite, Jackie Clementine, Milk Takeover, Richard Robbins, BSL workshop, Hula hooping workshop, Cae Ellison, Defective Collective, Easel Peasel, Geofest Collective, Rich Butnotfamous, Wonky Bike Collective, Wye Circus, Speakers’ Corner, Anthony Nolan, Minitree of Sound and Conquest Youth Theatre, plus the welcome return of Chicken-shit Bingo and the Human Jukebox.
These join the previously announced acts who include Chase & Status (DJ set) & Rage, Goldfrapp, The Selecter, Dub Pistols, Macka B, Electric Swing Circus, Kiko Bun, The Lovely Eggs, and DJ sets including Grandmaster Flash, DJ Marky & GQ, Black Sun Empire, S.P.Y, and many more. Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £125 for an adult Friday-Sunday, or £135 for an adult Thursday-Sunday. Teens (13-16) are priced at £95 for Friday-Sunday or £105 for Thursday-Sunday. Children aged 12 years and under are free, but need a ticket.
A car pass is £12, and a campervan pass is £38
