The comedy and literature line-ups have been revealed for the 13th edition of End of the Road 2018, which will take place at Larmer Tree Gardens, in Tollard Royal, nr Salisbury, from Thursday 30th August to Sunday 2nd September.
Announced for the comedy stage is The Bugle Podcast, presented by creator Andy Zaltzman, as well as John Oliver, Alice Fraser and a special guest. Also performing will be:- Dave Johns, Mark Watson, Rob Auton, Angela Barnes, Andy Zaltzman, Laura Lexx, Catherine Bohart, Scott Bennett, Questing Time Podcast, Sarah Keyworth, Running on Empty improv, Evelyn Mok, John-Luke Roberts, Bisha K Ali, Olga Koch, Alice Fraser, Universilly Challenge Quiz: Hosted by Bec Hill & Sarah Bennetto, Garrett Millerick, Jessica Fostekew, Alex Kealy, and Ben Van Der Velde.
The literature line-up will feature:- Tom Cox, Backlisted Podcast Live, Daniel Rachel, Sally Bayley, Ian Marchant, Caroline O'Donoghue, Christina Patterson, Matthew Clayton, and Tot Taylor.
The music line-up is headlined by Vampire Weekend, St Vincent, Feist, and Yo La Tengo, and also features Ezra Furman, John Cale, Gruff Rhys, Fat White Family, Julia Holter, Ariel Pink, Destroyer, Omar Souleyman, Aldous harding, This is the Kit, Hookworms, IDLES, Shame, The Low Anthem, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Flat Worms, Lost Horizons, Nilufer Yanya, and many more. The festival will also have an extensive programme of workshops for adults and children, with nearly 100 activities available over the weekend.
Tier 4 tickets are currently on sale, priced as follows:
Adult weekend: £195
Youth (aged 13-17) weekend: £150
Child (aged 6-12) weekend: £75
Child (aged 3-5) weekend: £45
Infant (aged 0-2) weekend: free (but needs ticket)
Campervan/caravan: £85 - £110
Car Parking (pay on arrival): £10
An installment plan is also available which allows you to reserve a ticket for £45.
