The first acts have been revealed for the 10th edition of Wilderness Festival, which takes place at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire from Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August 2020.
On the Main Stage and late night are Foals as Saturday headliner, Mercury-nominated South London rapperLoyle Carner, while Supergrass close things on Sunday. There's also Bicep (live), Kelis, David Rodigan and the Outlook Orchestra, Elder Island, Jayda G in The Valley on Saturday, Joy Crookes, Picture This, Homoelectric, and The Hustle.
For the Arts there's the return of Letters Live, Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra, Intelligence Squared, Sunday Papers Live, Too Many Ts, Hip Hop Karaoke, The Wilderness Proms, God's Jukebox, the wannabes can join in with The Dance Off Present - Wilderness Has Got Talent, The Art Studio, The Greencrafts Village, and Phlox Books.
The Level serves hot and fresh music from around the globe and has Auntie Flo, a UK debut from Kampala-based DJ and producer Catu Diosis (Nyege Nyege), Mafalda, Poly-Ritmo, Beating Heart: Saronde, London Astrobeat Orchestra, Kate Hutchinson (Worldwide FM), None More Records (Soho Radio), and Dora The Drawer.
The Jumpyard has dub-drum 'n' bass-big-brass from Sam and The Womp, plus Gypsy Hill, Captain Flatcap, Thrill Collins, Dat Brass, DJ Chris Tofu MBE, The Great Brain Robbery, Brass Rave Unit, Fizzy Gillespie, Badcore Horns, Tuxedo Junction, and BCO - Grime Orchestrated.
The Troubadour is hosted by Front Room Songs, Under The apple Tree, Woodburner, and Cut A Shine, and has Kitty Liv, Midnight Skyracer, Martha Hill, Hollie Rogers, Mesadorm, Theo Bard, Amahla, Iraina Mancini, The Wanton String Band, and The Boot Band.
The Club House with Village Circus has Captain Accident and The Disasters, The Burger Van DJs, The Brass Funkeys, Mr Tea and the Minions, DJ Max Galactic, and The Bare Souls.
There's also Feasting and Dining with Richard Corrigan, Skye Gyngell, Fergus Henderson, Café Murano, Petersham Nurseries, David Carter x Woodfired Canteen, Brad Carter, Damian Clisby, Homeslice, and Patty & Bun, and the House Of Sublime celebrating transformation, self-expression and diverse identities has Roundhouse, Madame Jojo's: Manifestation, Gayzpacho with Jonny Woo, Missy Fatale Cabaret, Alternative Miss Wilderness with The Provibers, The Chateau, Live Art Development Agency, BOi Box, The Vagina Museum - Bajingo Bingo, Adam All & Apple Derrieres, and Sex Work & the Future.
And along with those, the Outdoors and Wellbeing programme has The Lakeside Spa, Wellbeing in the Wild, The Studio, Mindful Space, Midnight runners, Hunter Gather Cook, Rogue Theatre, Wild Swimming, Horse Riding, Boating, Camp Wilderness, Medicine Walks with Wild Gaian Soul, and Bike Rides with Bainton Bikes, while on The Club House Playing Fields are The Wilderness Cricket Match hosted by Bearded Kitten, The Grand Irrational, Night Games, Disco Dodgeball, Sexi Flexi, Mass Musical Benches, Synchronised Disco, Sock Wrestling, Muggle Quidditch, and Le Walkshop.
