The Great Escape - CANCELLED 2020
Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th May 2020various venues, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 9NA, England MAP
currently £70 for a festival ticket
The latest act revealed for the 15th edition of new music multi-venue festival The Great Escape, at venues all over Brighton, East Sussex, from Wednesday 13th until Saturday 16th May 2020 is Hayley Williams, who will be performing on Friday 15th May.
Speaking of the performance, Hayley Williams comments "Wow. I am going on tour. Myself. It's not Paramore and truthfully, it's just a little terrifying. But if I know anything, it's that there's no safer place (besides at home with my dog) than to be on a stage, in front of the people who I've grown up singing my lungs out for. There was a time I thought I wouldn't tour Petals For Armor. What a joke. I must. It's going to be so satisfying to feel the energy of a crowd that close again, especially while performing songs that feel so vital for me; songs I have never performed before for an audience."
The Great Escape, the festival for new music, will be playing host to over 500 up and coming artists across 30+ walkable venues, with artists playing this year including Aitch, Nasty Cherry, Fontaines D.C., Arlo Parks, Ashnikko, Demob Happy, Svalbard, House Of Pharaohs, Strange Bones, and many more. For the details so far please see the line-up page. ... and there's still more than 200 acts to be announced!
Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £70 for a 3-day adult ticket. A 3-day Festival ticket gives you access to the core venues, subject to each venues' capacity.
A small number of the shows will take place at The Dome in Brighton; to ensure guaranteed access to Dome Shows, attendees will be able to top up their festival wristband for a small fee, or purchase separate gig tickets.
